I am a lecturer in the Department of Informatics (Computer Science) at the College of Science of Syiah Kuala University, Banda Aceh. I received my M.Sc. degree in Computer Science from Free University of Bozen-Bolzano, Italy, in 2010, and my B.Sc. degree in Mathematics Science from Syiah Kuala University, Aceh-Indonesia, in 2002. My master thesis was supervised by Prof. Dr. Michael Böhlen. My complete CV can be freely downloaded here.
My current research interests include data-centric applications in database, database applications in XML Data Structure, and approximate matching in a relational database management system. Those topics would be offered for bachelor students as their theses.
I am currently appointed as a senior programmer in the ICT Center of Syiah Kuala University (PUKSI). I am developing a web based academic information system providing KRS online, degree certification online, etc. In addition, I am also vice director of the ImHERE Project managing academic projects at the university, and the head of the programming & Database Lab.
I received some awards from either local or abroad scholarship.
